Terms
Once you accept Scoopin’Up LLC’s written Proposal and Estimate (for commercial clients) or online Fee Quote (for individual clients) – which we’ll just call “Services” – your service will automatically continue on a recurring basis until you decide to cancel, following the steps outlined in these Terms of Use.
Cancellation
You can cancel your Services anytime (no fees, no penalties) as long as you give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Just call or text us at (984) 205-4750, email service@scoopinup.com, or (for residential customers only) use the cancellation link in your Client Portal. If you have any payments due for Services we’ve already completed, those will need to be paid at the time you cancel. Also, if you signed up with a promotional offer (like 10% off for 6 months) and cancel before finishing the promo period, the discount will no longer apply. We’ll refund the unused portion of your prepaid service, but without the promotional discount.
Payment Method
When you sign up for Services, we’ll ask for your credit or debit card information so we can take care of payments as agreed. By providing your info, you’re giving Scoopin’Up LLC permission to securely store it and charge it for any fees related to your service. If your payment method doesn’t go through, there might be some extra fees. We’ll reach out to let you know, and if it’s not updated within five (5) business days, we may need to pause or end your Services.
Consent to Contact
When you share your phone number or email with us, you’re giving Scoopin’Up LLC (and any trusted partners we work with for billing, collections, or customer care) permission to get in touch with you. This could be through calls, texts, emails, or other electronic messages, and sometimes we might use automated systems or prerecorded messages to reach you.

Refunds
At Scoopin’Up LLC, we generally don’t offer refunds for services unless there’s been a mistake on our end. If a refund is approved for another reason, it’ll be adjusted for any bank or credit card processing fees and any prorated services if needed. Sometimes, instead of a refund, we might issue an account credit, which can either be used toward your next month’s invoice or stay on your account with no expiration date.
Modifications
If we ever need to make changes to your Services or these Terms of Use, we’ll let you know in writing. Some changes might come with extra charges, but don’t worry — we’ll always be upfront about it. If there’s a price adjustment, you’ll get at least 30 days’ notice so you have plenty of time to review it.
Service Day and Arrival Windows
At Scoopin’Up LLC, we do our best to stay on schedule, but because of traffic, weather, and other surprises, we can’t guarantee exact arrival times. Our team works from sunup to sundown and operates in most weather conditions. If the weather or roads ever become unsafe, we may need to pause services until it’s safe again, and we’ll make sure to notify you right away. Sometimes we might need to adjust or reschedule your service day based on your address and our routing plans. (This helps us keep our prices competitive!) Your monthly fee also covers certain holidays we observe, and there won’t be credits for missed visits on those days. If services are interrupted by things like snow, heavy rain, high winds, hurricanes, extreme temperatures, or anything else outside our control, you’re welcome to pause or cancel service, just keep in mind that there may be extra charges when we resume, depending on how much extra work is needed. We’ll always aim to service your yard on the usual day(s) unless we tell you otherwise.
To help us out, please make sure any gates or access points are unlocked and clear of obstructions like dogs, padlocks, or lawn furniture. If we can’t safely get into the yard, we’ll let you know, but the visit will still be billed.
Waste Hauling Notice
At the moment, we don’t offer waste hauling due to limitations with disposal sites in your area. However, we securely double-bag all dog waste and place it in your outdoor trash bin. If you don’t have a bin, we’ll leave it in a neat and tidy pile near your house or in front of your fence. Most of our customers prefer this method because it’s quicker and helps keep costs low.
Aggressive Animals
We’re happy to work around friendly animals in the yard, but we can’t work around aggressive ones for everyone’s safety. Before your service, we’ll send you a notification about 30 minutes ahead of time, then another when our technician arrives. If there are aggressive animals and they aren’t properly secured, we’ll try to reach out one more time and knock on the door. If we don’t hear back in 5 minutes, we’ll have to skip that visit, and you’ll still be charged for the service. If we can’t access the yard or finish the cleanup because of an aggressive animal, we’ll let you know and charge for the visit as well. In the rare case a technician is bitten by an animal, they’ll leave immediately to get medical attention. The yard will be left as is, and the visit may be considered complete for that day. The client will be responsible for any medical costs, and in some cases, animal control might be contacted. Please keep your dog’s vaccination records up to date and provide them to us if requested, especially in case of an incident involving a bite or attack. We trust you to assess your dog’s temperament for the safety of our team, and Scoopin’Up LLC reserves the right to decline service if our technicians feel unsafe.
Tall Grass Policy
We’ll always do our best to provide a thorough cleanup, but tall or overgrown grass can make it harder to spot and access waste. It can also hide safety hazards like snakes or sharp objects, which puts our technicians at risk. That’s why we strongly recommend keeping your yard mowed and maintained. If the grass is too tall to safely or effectively perform the service, we may need to reschedule or skip the visit, and in those cases, the regular service fee will still apply. Scoopin’Up LLC is not responsible for any waste that may be missed due to tall or overgrown grass.
Service Delays
If a payment is missed, we may need to delay your services until everything is paid up. Once any outstanding balance is cleared, we’ll pick up where we left off. If services are paused and payment isn’t made in full within 30 days, we’ll consider the services canceled. Sometimes, things outside of our control (like snow, heavy rain, high winds, hurricanes, extreme temperatures, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events) may stop us from being able to provide service as planned. In these cases, Scoopin’Up LLC won’t be held responsible and may decide to postpone, cancel, or end the service as needed. Don’t worry, delays from these events won’t be seen as abandoning the agreement!
Disputes
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. If any issues come up related to this Agreement that we can’t resolve through a conversation, we’ll work to resolve them through mediation with the American Arbitration Association, following their Construction Industry Mediation Rules, before moving to arbitration. If needed, the decision from the mediator or arbitrator can be made into a court judgment. You and Scoopin’Up LLC can also agree to use the Better Business Bureau’s mediation and arbitration process instead. Efforts by Scoopin’Up LLC to collect unpaid amounts aren’t covered by the mediation and arbitration process. If that happens, you agree to cover any collection costs, court fees, and reasonable attorney’s fees we may incur. Finally, by agreeing to this, you waive the right to a jury trial for any legal action related to this Agreement.
No Waiver of Rights
If Scoopin’Up LLC doesn’t use a right or remedy right away, or accepts a partial or late payment, it doesn’t mean we’re giving up any of our rights or the obligations you’ve agreed to under these Terms of Use. Even if we let something slide temporarily, we still have the right to take action in the future if needed.
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use are the full and final agreement between us about the Services. They replace any previous written or spoken agreements we may have had on this topic.
